Tottenham are weighing up a move for Borussia Dortmund defender Matthias Ginter, according to reports in the English press.
The Independent and The Guardian both claim Spurs are keen to reshuffle their back-line this summer and Ginter could help achieve that.
Kyle Walker has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester City, but Tottenham are expected to hold on to the rest of their star defenders.
World Cup winner Ginter is apparently eager for talks with new Dortmund boss Peter Bosz before deciding on his future. The Germany international is believed to be available for around £15 million.
Primarily a centre-back, Ginter has also been known to slot in at right-back and defensive midfield. At 23-years-old, the versatile defender sounds like a perfect match for a Mauricio Pochettino team.
Ginter would provide competition for Eric Dier on the right of a back three. He would also challenge Kieran Trippier for his spot at right-back.
German club Hoffenheim are thought to be interested, but Spurs will be confident they can lure Ginter to London.
