Tottenham are interested in signing Venezuelan playmaker Yeferson Soteldo, according to reports in Spain.
Soteldo plays for Chilean side Huachipato, but entered the spotlight playing for his country at the Under-20 World Cup earlier this summer.
Venezuela reached the final only to lose against an England side that included Spurs youngsters Josh Onomah and Kyle Walker-Peters.
But Soteldo did enough to attract interest from Tottenham and Real Madrid. In fact, Spanish outlet Don Balon believes Spurs are set to make a £15.8 million bid for the 20-year-old.
Standing at just 5ft 3in tall, Soteldo can play either out wide or through the middle and is an exciting dribbler, as the video below demonstrates.
Reminds me of Maradonna great ball control can cross with both feet. I’m not sure that he can shoot though. Maybe Mr Pochetino can make an improvement in this area.
At the price of £15 Million he is is a very good investment for I Liked the way he rode tackles and did not keep falling over.
Fuck off cunt
Mean Natalie Yearwood yea watch
Bring him into Tottenham and under our Mr. Pochetino…. he’ll transform into Lionel Messi… similar nature to young Messi… provide different dimension to our game play and style that will make us unpredictable in each and every game. Very intrique player that will make Harry, Alli, Erikson awesome and suppliment to Janssen true value.
We have Marcus Edwards! Incredible player, bring him through instead and save the money.
Lot of work for Poch to do with this lad. Not a bad player, but £15,000,000? After watching the clips on youtube, would he get the time on the ball in the epl? Could he physically adapt to the epl? not sure. Hopefully, if purchased, wouldn’t turn out to be a one trick pony. Great pace, can dribble, but very heavy 1st touch and would certainly, Not get away with it in epl. For me, the juries out on this one and I feel that we need players that can step up to the mark and improve the team Now, not in 2 seasons time.
