Five of Tottenham’s Premier League fixtures across August and September have been changed as they will be televised, it has been confirmed.
Spurs’ first two matches have both been picked for television coverage. Mauricio Pochettino’s side will play Newcastle United at St James’ Park on the opening weekend, which will now take place on Sunday August 13th at 1.30pm.
Tottenham’s first home game at Wembley will now be at 4pm on Sunday August 20th.
In September, Spurs meet Swansea City at Wembley on Saturday the 16th at 5.30pm before away matches at West Ham United and newly-promoted Huddersfield Town on consecutive Saturdays — the 23rd and the 30th — both at 12.30pm.
The club announced the time and date changes via Twitter.
