FC Porto expect Tottenham to meet the £22 million asking price for Portuguese right-back Ricardo Pereira, according to The London Evening Standard.
Spurs want to provide competition for Kieran Trippier following Kyle Walker’s exit to Manchester City, and head scout Steve Hitchen has identified Pereira as a potential replacement.
The 23-year-old has spent the last two years on loan at French club Nice. He can play on either flank but is strongest on the right.
Walker is set to join Manchester City for a fee rising to £53 million, so Tottenham will be spending less than half of that on Pereira is they meet his asking price.
However, reliable journalist Jack Pitt-Brooke claims Pereira could be on his way to Serie A champions Juventus.
Sounds like Spurs target Ricardo Pereira might be leaving Porto for … Juventus.

Dani Alves left Juventus for Paris Saint-Germain earlier this week, which provoked Manchester City to step up up their efforts to sign Walker.
Juventus obviously need a new right-back to replace Alves, and it looks like it could be Pereira. We’ll have to wait and see.
why did we sell walker before we had a replacement this is madness
Because levy is a tight little >/@£ that’s why.
Has Walker’s potential replacement got pace? Because it’s going to be lacking this season if he hasn’t.
i cannot see anyone with that pace arriving but Poch must have rubber stamped the sale so what do we know i will not wish Walker good luck because he went for MONEY greedy bastard spurs go one step forwards two steps back i hope he has a crap season and gets dropped from england
