Sporting Lisbon midfielder Adrien Silva is holding out for a move to Tottenham, according to reports in Portugal.

The 28-year-old, who was part of Portugal’s Euro 2016-winning side last year, has been linked with Spurs multiple times already this summer.

Portuguese publication A Bola (spotted by HITC) claims Silva is keen on a transfer to Tottenham.

The report suggests West Bromwich Albion were in advanced talks with Sporting over a possible move for Silva, but the player only has eyes for Spurs as he wants to join a team fighting for titles.

Sporting’s £26.8 million asking price is a potential stumbling block. Below you can watch Silva score a penalty for Portugal at the Confederations Cup last month.
