Kieran Trippier fears he will miss the start of the new season after sustaining an ankle injury against Juventus on Saturday, according to The Telegraph.
The right-back limped off before half-time in Spurs’ final pre-season friendly of the summer at Wembley.
Tottenham beat Juventus 2-0 thanks to goals from Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen. Trippier created the opener with a pinpoint cross.

But the victory was marred by the 26-year-old’s injury, which could see him miss the beginning of the season.
He is believed to have undergone a scan on Monday, the results of which are unknown at the present moment.
But the Telegraph claims Trippier fears he will not recover in time for the trip to Newcastle on Sunday. Hopefully that’s the only game he misses.
