Tottenham want to wrap up a deal for Ajax defender Davinson Sanchez by the end of the week, according to The Mirror.
It has been widely reported that the Colombian centre-back has informed Ajax of his desire to join Spurs.
The touted fee for Sanchez is £35 million, but The Mirror believes add-ons mean the figure could rise to £40m.
Ajax have told the 21-year-old they do not intend to let him leave this summer. However, there are suggestions an offer of £35 million or above might tempt the Dutch club into selling.
