There was a strong sense of disappointment and frustration in the Tottenham camp following yesterday’s 2-1 defeat to Chelsea at Wembley.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side dominated for long spells of the game but two goals from Marcos Alonso handed the visitors all three points.
Spurs equalised with under ten minutes to go through Michy Batshuayi’s own goal and looked like they would go on to win the game.
But Chelsea grabbed a winner late on. Harry Kane, who was excellent despite failing to find the net, voiced his frustration on Twitter shortly after the match.
Very frustrating. We’ll respond on Sunday. pic.twitter.com/AC1OAUt1wX
