Tottenham are interested in signing Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes on loan but face competition from West Ham United, according to the Telegraph.
Spurs were first linked with the former Valencia man back in June. Now, the Telegraph is claiming Tottenham have rekindled their interest in the 24-year-old.
The report suggests Spurs and West Ham are keen to sign Gomes on a season-long loan, but any deal would involve “a hefty fee and an expensive wage packet.”
It is believed Tottenham could still make a move for Ross Barkley despite the club’s interest in Gomes. For me, it’s difficult to see both happening.
