
Tottenham are closing in on a season-long loan deal for Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes, according to multiple reports.
Spurs emerged as competitors to sign Gomes yesterday.
And now various outlets, including the Telegraph, are claiming Tottenham have moved ahead of West Ham in the the battle to sign the attacking midfielder on loan.

This news comes as reports emerge suggesting Spurs are set to end their immediate interest in bringing Ross Barkley to the club. They are expected to go back in for Everton midfielder in January.

Meanwhile, a deal for Swansea striker Fernando Llorente edges closer. The Spaniard has completed his medical and is expected to be announced as a Tottenham player soon.
