Tottenham will face West Ham United at Wembley in the fourth round of the EFL Cup next month.
Spurs edged past Barnsley on Wednesday night to book their place in the draw for the next round, and they were the first team pulled out of the bag.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side will welcome West Ham, who beat Bolton in the third round, to their temporary home.
The fixture will take place the week commencing October 23rd.
On Twitter, Tottenham fans were quick to mock West Ham for finally reaching a ‘cup final’ at Wembley. Here’s the best of the reaction to the draw.

West Ham at Wembley, definitely doable even with our home trouble this year.

Cup game. West Ham. Wembley Stadium. Can it actually feel any more like a cup final for them? Please smash them, Tottenham. Kane hat-trick.

Great draw. Pretty sure they'll put their strongest team out. Interesting to see what allocation West Ham get given potential trouble.

Hopefully Poch has learnt his lesson from Arsenal and doesn't play our reserves in a London derby again..

#thfc League Cup may not be high on Pochettino's list of priorities bt he may want to consider local pride when he picks his team v West Ham

Squashed in between Liverpool @ home and Man U away with a couple of Real Madrid games as book ends and people on here are saying I hope Poch doesn’t field a reserve team, if he doesn’t field a reserve team, the Caribou cup will be all were competing for this year, the name says it all

It’s almost certain we see a second string side against West Ham when u look at the games that come before and after…
Even our reserve team is good enough to beat the Hammersmith. #COYS
just like last season -= mmmwwwaaahahahahaha
West ham to win 2-1 at wembley
This is a difficult one as we’ll play a mix of second string players and academy boys and whu will be at full strength as this is possibly the biggest game in their history.
