For Tottenham, one name that seemed to be constantly doing the rounds during the summer transfer window was Suso.
The AC Milan playmaker was repeatedly linked with a potential move to Spurs by the Italian media, but nothing materialised.
Suso made it clear that he wanted to stay with Milan, and the 23-year-old recently put pen to paper on a new deal with the Serie A club until 2022.
However, Italian outlet Il Giornale (via talkSPORT) claims there is a £44 million release clause in that new contract.
That means Tottenham would have to break their transfer record if they do reignite their interest in the former Liverpool man.
