Jan Vertonghen missed Belgium training on Tuesday because of an ankle problem, according to reports.
Belgian football expert Kristof Terreur reveald on Twitter that Vertonghen was one of five players who were absent from training with the Red Devils.

?Vertonghen (ankle)

?Mertens (calf)— Kristof Terreur ? (@HLNinEngeland) October 3, 2017
However, Terreur also believes that all of the issues are “minor”.
All minor issues by the way.

Hopefully Vertonghen was only left out as a precaution, which is likely given Belgium have already qualified for the 2018 World Cup.
The defender has suffered two ankle injuries in the last two seasons, so Tottenham fans will be hoping the issue is indeed minor.
