Gareth Bale would consider joining Tottenham if he leaves Real Madrid next summer, according to reports in Spain.
The Welshman left Spurs in the summer of 2013 for a then record fee of around £85 million.
He has won the Champions League three times with Madrid, but Bale has been consistently linked with a return to England.
Manchester United and Chelsea are usually the teams mentioned whenever the rumour mill churns out another Bale story.
But Spanish outlet Don Balon are suggesting Tottenham would be the most appealing Premier League club to the 28-year-old.
Bale is believed to be excited by the club’s progression under Mauricio Pochettino and the prospect of playing in the new stadium.
While I’d certainly like to see Bale back at Spurs, you have to question whether the club could afford his wages. It’s very unlikely.
On top of that, he’s suffered a number of injuries over the last couple of years. With that in mind, I don’t think Daniel Levy would be keen to make him the club’s highest paid player.
Why would we want some one who’s at the wrong end of their career, injury-prone and would upset the wage structure?….
Spot on Barry not going to happen
if real Madrid wants Harry kane.. wait for 2 years. @the age of 26.
so now real Madrid make tottenham happy by selling the former tottenham player. to tottenham.
dear real Madrid..
don’t dream for a Harry kane swap using bale.. if you real Madrid give bale now then we only sell to real Madrid after 2 years.. i guarantee..
harry has made tottenham fans so excited.. and as a reward we tottenham fans will allow harry kane to leave at the age of 26. if he is willing to go to real Madrid..
real Madrid now go for either dybala or hazard or striker rashford or greizmann
I don’t think it would be such a bad thing to bring him back, why not might take him a while to get in the team though, not sure who he would replace though.
