Mauricio Pochettino would not give a clear answer when asked if Harry Kane will be fit and ready to play against Manchester United on Saturday.

Tottenham made a number of changes for the EFL Cup encounter with West Ham in midweek, which they lost 3-2 at Wembley.

Kane left the field late on in last weekend’s win over Liverpool holding his hamstring, but Pochettino said he was simply tired.

However, quizzed on Kane’s availability for Saturday after the defeat to West Ham, Pochettino said: “We’ll see.”

If Kane misses out, Spurs have the option of fielding Fernando Llorente or Heung-Min Son up front at Old Trafford, or perhaps both.

  1. Son is fit and in a good form, he replaced Kane last season well. Lorente can play up front with Son. Ali has back to his game, so without Kane we still can do it. COY !!
