Real Madrid want Dele Alli to replace Luka Modric, according to reports in Spain.
Alli has been repeatedly linked with a move to La Liga in the Spanish press ever since his stunning display in Tottenham’s 3-1 win against Madrid in the Champions League earlier this month.
The latest story, from rumour-loving outlet Don Balon, claims the European champions are considering replacements for Luka Modric, who has been far from his best so far this season.
Apparently, Zinedine Zidane has identified Alli as the ideal replacement.
Don Balon also recently ran a story suggesting Barcelona want the 21-year-old to replace Andres Iniesta. Both reports ignore the fact that Alli is more of a forward than a midfielder these days.
It’s all very much speculation at this stage.

These reports are never going to go away, and in the end they’ll become reality. So, for now lets hope Spurs hang on to their star players and win a major trophy. They are so close to doing just that, and dont need to buy Bale either. Whats the piont of a great player on the treatment table.?
