Tottenham sent scouts to watch Marseille playmaker Morgan Sanson last weekend, according to reports in France.
Marseille were up against Bordeux in Ligue 1, and Sanson found the net with his third goal in three his last three league appearances.
According to French outlet Foot 01 (via HITC), Spurs scouts were in attendance.
Sanson provided 14 assists in Ligue 1 last season, more than any other player in the French top-flight.
Foot 01 claims scouts from Manchester United, Newcastle, Crystal Palace, Southampton and Brighton also watched the 23-year-old Frenchman last weekend.
If true, Tottenham could face a tug of war if they are genuinely interested in signing him.
