Tottenham are interested in signing a young forward to provide cover for Harry Kane, according to The Mirror.
Spurs currently only have 32-year-old Fernando Llorente as a back-up centre forward.
The Mirror suggests Mauricio Pochettino wants a younger forward who can develop into a first-team player.
The player they mention as a potential option is Schalke’s Breel Emobolo.
The 20-year-old joined Schalke from Swiss side Basel in June 2016. He has struggled with injuries during his time in Germany.
Embolo has already made 19 appearances for the Switzerland senior side, scoring twice.
