Yesterday we relayed a report that claimed Manchester United had been handed a transfer boost by Danny Rose’s omission from Tottenham’s squad in the last two Premier League games.

As a result of that, Spurs are now being linked with a number of potential replacements even though the Rose situation is still unclear.

Bologna left-back Adam Masina has been mentioned, but The Telegraph is suggesting Tottenham have identified Fulham teenager Ryan Sessegnon as the “ideal replacement”.

The 17-year-old, who is really more of a winger these days, has already scored a hat-trick in the Championship this season, leading to further interest from the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea.

Fulham will apparently ask for around £30 million for Sessegnon – will Spurs be put off by that valuation?
