Tottenham travel to Watford in the Premier League on Saturday in need of a win after a disappointing run of results.

Mauricio Pochettino has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection.

Thankfully, Harry Winks is back in contention to start after missing the defeat at Leicester through illness.

I think Winks and Son Heung-Min will replace Mousa Dembele and Moussa Sissoko, with Spurs reverting to the 3-5-2 formation that worked so well against Borussia Dortmund last month.

That means Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen will drop slightly deeper into midfield, with Winks sitting in front of the back three.

I’d like to see Eriksen given a rest, but there aren’t really any other options. Erik Lamela was excellent in his 15-minute cameo at Leicester. But he surely isn’t fit enough to start yet.

Elsewhere, Ben Davies and Kieran Trippier are almost certain to replace Danny Rose and Serge Aurier in the full-back positions.

Here’s our predicted Tottenham XI to face Watford – what’s yours?

  1. Poch must start Son more often….instead of sissoko…..Son has proven he can score goals…and that is what we need ….Rose clearly is a better player at left back than Davies.. Poch should be more objective in his selection.
Lastly the failure to plan backup for alderwereld injury is definitely hurting us.
