Despite the red card, Tottenham will have left Vicarage Road disappointed with just a point on Saturday.
Going into the game, Spurs felt like they needed to win following a string of poor results. Watford’s early goal was cancelled out by Son Heung-Min before the break, but Davinson Sanchez’s dismissal meant the visitors had to battle for a point.
Harry Kane was perhaps guilty of missing a couple of goalscoring chances, but Tottenham fan @JakeSpurs_ highlighted the striker’s impressive all-round performance on Twitter.

The 24-year-old’s hold-up play and passing was excellent throughout – Kane has far more about him than some give him credit for.
