Geoffrey Kondogbia would rather stay with his loan club Valencia than join Tottenham or Arsenal, according to reports in Spain.
The 24-year-old midfielder is currently on loan at Valencia from Inter Milan. The La Liga club have the option to sign Kondogbia permanently for €25 million at the end of the season.
After starting the campaign brilliantly, the Frenchman has been linked with a move to England. Spurs reportedly see him as a long-term replacement for Mousa Dembele.
But Spanish outlet Marca claims Kondogbia’s preference is to stay with Valencia.
So, Tottenham’s search for a central midfielder continues. They’ve also been linked with a familiar face – you can read about that here.
