Heung-Min Son scored his eighth goal of the season as Tottenham beat Chris Hughton’s Brighton 2-0 at Wembley on Wednesday.
Serge Aurier gave Spurs the lead five minutes before half-time when his cross sailed over the Brighton goalkeeper and into the back of the net. You can watch Aurier’s goal here.
The visitors frustrated Spurs for the remainder of the game, but Mauricio Pochettino’s side always looked more likely to score the second goal.
It finally came when Christian Eriksen’s free-kick was headed in by Son via a deflection. You can watch it happen below.
