Tottenham are interested in signing Lyon forward Maxwel Cornet, according to The Mirror.
The 21-year-old, who has scored twice in 15 Ligue 1 appearances so far this season, is believed to have a £7 million release clause in his contract.
After representing France and Under-21 level, Cornet switched allegiances to the Ivory Coast. Borussia Dortmund are also said to be interested.
Spurs are in need of a quick attacker to add pace to their front line – they have previously been linked with Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha and Richarlison of Watford.
It remains to be seen whether Tottenham will make any signings in January, but it’s unlikely.
