Manchester United are preparing a £25 million January bid for Tottenham target Ryan Sessegnon, according to The Guardian.

The Fulham left-back, still only 17, has drawn plaudits for his mature performances in the Championship over the last two seasons.

Mauricio Pochettino is said to be a fan, with some reports suggesting Tottenham are keen to sign him as a replacement for Danny Rose next month.

But now, The Guardian claims Manchester United will almost certainly move for Sessegnon in the upcoming transfer window.

Earlier this week, Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic revealed he expects the teenager to stay at Craven Cottage until the end of the season.

However, Jokanovic also admitted the situation could be out of his control, which could cause Premier League interest in the teenager to intensify.

I don’t think Spurs will let Rose leave in January, but the club may need to move for Sessegnon sooner rather than later if they want to sign him ahead of Manchester United.
