Moussa Sissoko insists he is happy in England but admits he misses France.
The midfielder has been playing in the Premier League since 2013 when he joined Newcastle from Toulouse.
He then signed for Tottenham in the summer of 2016, where he has struggled to find his best form.
That said, the Frenchman has began to settle in at Spurs this year. But that doesn’t mean a return to Ligue 1 is out of the question.
“When I look at the French championship, yes I miss it a bit,” Sissoko told SFR Sport (via talkSPORT).
“”It was where I started, I have a lot of friends who still play [in Ligue 1], I think it would be nice to play against them.
“But at the same time, I’m very happy to be here, it’s a championship I’ve always wanted to play in.”
Do you think Sissoko has a long-term future at Tottenham? Let us know in the comments.
Not a player Spurs would miss. Unfortunately he has not added anything demonstrable to the squad since arrival.
