Harry Kane insists he will remain happy at Tottenham so long as the club continues to progress.

The striker was speaking to reporters after his quick-fire double helped Spurs on their way to a 3-0 victory over AFC Wimbledon in the FA Cup on Sunday.

According to ESPN, he was asked what the club must do to keep him.

“I’ve always said just keep progressing, keep getting better,” Kane said. “We want to start winning trophies – that’s the aim. As long as the club keeps doing that, then I’m happy here.”

The 24-year-old was also asked about Tottenham’s chances of winning the FA Cup this season.

“We’ve been close in the league in the last couple of years but the aim of the game is to win trophies and that’s what we’ve got to try and do,” he said.

“We’re still in the Champions League and the FA Cup. We know the Champions League will be tough so the FA Cup’s one where we have a good chance.”
