Tottenham are interested in Coventry City midfielder Tom Bayliss, according to The Mail.

The 18-year-old was named man of the match in Coventry’s shock FA Cup victory over Stoke City at the weekend, putting midfielders like Joe Allen and Charlie Adam to shame.

Bayliss only made his senior debut for the League Two side in November – his reputation has skyrocketed since leading to alleged interest from Spurs.

Derby County are also said to be keen. He’d be more likely get playing time there, but the chance to work under Mauricio Pochettino might be too good to turn down given the Argentine’s record of developing young English talent.
