Arsenal ‘enter race’ to sign reported Tottenham and Man United target

Arsenal are interested in signing reported Tottenham target Malcom, according to The Mail.

Yesterday, we relayed reports suggesting two unnamed clubs – thought to be Spurs and Arsenal – are are in talks to sign the Bordeaux winger.

But the latest report in The Mail claims Manchester United and Spurs were initially in for Malcom. However, Arsenal have now made an enquiry over the Brazilian.

The 20-year-old Brazilian has been one of the standout players in Ligue 1 so far this season, scoring seven goals and providing four assists.

Arsenal are believed to be on the lookout for potential replacements for Alexis Sanchez, who could be on his way to Manchester City.

If Tottenham’s interest in Malcom is genuine, they may need to move quickly before others swoop.
