Tottenham target Ryan Sessegnon will not be leaving Fulham this month, the club’s vice-chairman Tony Khan has announced.
Sessegnon, 17, has been heavily linked with both Spurs and Manchester United following a string of fine performances in the Championship.
But Khan insists the teenage sensation will stay with Fulham for at least the remainder of the season.
“As it’s been the subject of a great deal of speculation, I’d like to announce that Ryan Sessegnon is staying with Fulham football club and will not be departing during this January transfer window,” said Khan. (Quotes via The Telegraph.)
“Ryan is a very important part of the Fulham family, and we’re grateful that he’ll be with us as we fight to achieve promotion this season.”
Sessegnon has been touted as a potential long-term replacement for Danny Rose, who has also been linked with Manchester United – it will be interesting to see where both players end up next summer.
