Heung-Min Son and Christian Eriksen say they are happy at Tottenham as talk of new deals for multiple players continues to do the rounds.

Toby Alderweireld and Harry Kane are reportedly set to be offered improved contracts, leading to speculation about the future of other Spurs stars.

Son scored his fifth goal in five Premier League games in Saturday’s 4-0 win over Everton. After the match he was asked about the chances of him entering talks over a new deal.

“I haven’t heard any special comments about that,” he said. “Although I’m having a great time here, I don’t believe that is what I can talk about at this moment.

“I’m learning a lot at Tottenham, so I’d like to focus on Tottenham and my performances for now.” (All quotes via Goal.)

Eriksen was also on the scoresheet against Everton. He, too, insisted he is happy at the club.

“I am happy to be at the club and have nothing negative to say about it [Tottenham] at all,” he said.

“Everyone is really very pleased with the win and how we played was very good so it’s on to the next game. I think it gives us a lot of confidence to play like we did.”

It will likely be a gradual process, but hopefully Spurs can tie down their best players sooner rather than later.
