Chelsea are still interested in signing Tottenham striker Fernando Llorente, according to ESPN.

Earlier this month, we relayed reports suggesting Antonio Conte was keen to take the Spaniard to Stamford Bridge.

Llorente was linked with a move to Chelsea for a long time before Spurs hijacked the deal late in the summer transfer window.

Now, ESPN claims Chelsea continue to monitor the 32-year-old and could move for him before Wednesday’s deadline – the Blues are also said to be fond of Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud.

I don’t think Llorente would be allowed to leave without replacement. Also, Tottenham will be reluctant to do business with Chelsea.

  1. Take Hazard on loan….

Levy aint gonna sell to that lot. We ain’t Arsenal. Unless he has has more than one signing planned this window. Even then i doubt it very much..

    • Batshuayi far from a dud…10 goals in 25 from the bench…Conte just doesnt like him much for some reason…he will be excellent at spurs…he’s more mobile…sharper and works hard for the team as well…and would be a better fit if Poch wants to use 2 strikers up front

  2. Batshuayi should never again get the chance to play for Spurs. He had the chance and wanted to come to us until Chelsea came along with more money. He knew he wasn’t gonna get in the team ahead of Costa and must have known he would get much less game time over there but he still chose them because apparently money (and i suppose winning trophies without playing much) is more important than furthering his career. That’s not the kind of character we need around our squad. Easy come, easy go. If we build him up he will be off before we are ready to let him go. That kind of attitude is poison, be careful what you wish for, squad harmony is more important than flashy players.

Keep Llorente and bring back Janssen if we can’t find another option.

    COYS!
