Fenerbahce are no longer interested in signing Vincent Janssen on a permanent deal from Tottenham this summer, according to reports in Turkey.

Janssen joined Spurs in the summer of 2016 for around £18 million but struggled during his first season in England, scoring only six goals in all competitions.

He was loaned to Fenerbahce for the 2017-18 campaign, where has found the net just three times in 12 appearances.

There had been suggestions Fenerbahce still wanted to sign him permanently despite his lack of goals.

But Turkish outlet InternetSpor now claims that is unlikely to happen because of a foot injury.

Some Tottenham fans would be take Janssen over Fernando Llorente in the current squad, but I get the feeling the Dutchman has already played his last game for Spurs.

  1. Sell them both and bring in super Mario Balotteli. I have watched him twice playing for Nice. I though he was on something as he was running up and down like a super midfielder getting involved strong. He would be the man to deputise for Harry. He knows the prem. The manager would sort him.

  2. I’ve said it for the last two seasons , Shane Long would do the Spurs team a great job.
Gives us a second dimension and is happy to play off the bench.
