Erik Lamela would consider a move to Inter Milan, according to reports in Italy.

The Tottenham attacker returned from a year-long injury lay-off in October and has struggled to cement a place in the starting line-up this season.

However, he was a surprise starter in Tuesday’s 2-2 draw with Juventus – the Argentine put in an impressive performance in Turin.

Italian outlet Calcio Mercato (via talkSPORT) claims Inter are keen on the 25-year-old, and he would be open to joining the Serie A giants.

For now, Lamela is an important part of the Spurs squad. But it will be interesting to see if his situation changes in the summer.

Meanwhile, ESPN claims Tottenham are considering extending Lamela’s current deal.

  1. Lamela is waaayyyy better than those two. The only thing against him is the injury he suffered that kept him out for a year…prior to that, very very good player in terms of goals scored and assists provided. Not forgetting he is working his way back to full fitness.

    • Where do you get your figures? I will happily provide the stats for Lamela in regard to goals and assists if you really believe that.

  2. Anyone that cannot see what Lamela brings to the team must be blind. His all action pressing displays coupled with skill and vision make him a big part of our team/squad. Hate to lose him.
