It’s easy to forget an actual game of football happened on Wednesday night amid all of the VAR controversy at Wembley.
Tottenham’s second string cruised to a 6-1 victory over League One side Rochdale in their FA Cup fifth round replay thanks to a Fernando Llorente hat-trick, a Heung-Min Son brace and a first Spurs goal for Kyle Walker-Peters.
In defence, Juan Foyth had a shaky night against Rochdale’s hard-working attackers. But the teenager held his own for the most part and was impressive on the ball.
His best moment came inside four minutes. When Foyth was knocked off the ball by Rochdale goalscorer Stephen Humphrys, the Argentine recovered with a clever little turn to get Tottenham out of trouble. Watch it happen below.
That didn’t impress me. He got himself into trouble unnecessarily. He managed to extricate himself from the mess he’d created for himself, but he shouldn’t have got himself in the mess in the first place, and it could well have ended differently.

He got himself in unnecessary trouble.
He needs to keep it simple.
But he is young and i’m sure he’ll learn.
Mistakes happen in a Match. He is still young so long he learns from his mistake . One for the future .Gareth Bale was never perfect when he came to Spurs.

Great skill in a very difficult situation. Give him a break, he’s still learning his trade but obviously has the
