Mauricio Pochettino says “two big mistakes” cost Tottenham a place in the Champions League quarter-finals, referring to Juventus’ quick-fire double midway through the second half on Wednesday night.
Spurs took the lead in the tie when Heung-Min Son opened the scoring before half-time in the second leg at Wembley, but Juventus responded with two goals in three minutes after the break.
After the game, Pochettino lamented the visitors’ goals but also praised his side for the growth they have shown in the Champions League this season.

Clearly the better side on the night. Simply not streetwise.
I hate to blame individuals but I felt we showed a lack of determination, following the runner on the first goal and the second goal why we are trying to get so tight 50yrds from goal ? ? Then my pet hate of standing still with your arm praying for offside? ? I was shocked the keeper stayed rooted too.
