A number of Tottenham stars have been ranked among the best players in Europe in new research conducted by the CIES Football Observatory.
The research has named the ten best footballers currently playing in Europe in every position this season.
According to a post on the CIES website, the results are dictated by six areas of the game: rigour, recovery, distribution, take on, chance creation and shooting.
A total of nine Spurs players are included. They are: Hugo Lloris, Davison Sanchez, Ben Davies, Eric Dier, Mousa Dembele, Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli, Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane.
Lloris is at the very top of the goalkeepers list, while Christian Eriksen is ranked as the best box-to-box midfielder.
Davinson Sanchez and Mousa Dembele are also very near the top of their respective categories, while Harry Kane is third on the forwards list behind Gonzalo Higuain and Cristiano Ronaldo.
