Tottenham could sign Ryan Sessegnon AND his twin brother Steven if Fulham fail to win the Championship play-off final later this month, according to the London Evening Standard.

Ryan has been linked with Spurs ever since breaking into the Fulham first team at the age of 18 – he has made 81 appearances for the Londoners since.

It is believed his brother Steven has also been on Tottenham’s radar for some time, although he has only played three times for Fulham.

According to the Standard, Ryan is likely to be sold if Fulham fail to achieve promotion to the Premier League when they face Aston Villa in the play-off final.

The report claims any deal that takes Ryan to Spurs could also include Steven.

Ryan has been a sensation over the last two seasons, scoring 16 goals this term as Fulham finished third in the Championship.

It will be a real coup if Tottenham manage to pull of a deal for the teenager – Manchester United and Liverpool have also been linked in the past.

Fulham apparently value Ryan at £50 million, so Spurs would have to break their transfer record to sign him.

  1. Do spurs really have £50m for an 18 year old? New stadium and falling short again (albeit mighty impressive season), the new project is not about building for the future it has to be about winning the title or champions league or poch will be off. The only reason this rumour persists is Levy’s usual tactics of trying to unsettle young players at other clubs to try and get them on the cheap.
