Christian Eriksen has heaped praise on his Tottenham teammate Ben Davies after the Welshman made the left-back spot his own this season.
Davies has been been Mauricio Pochettino’s first-choice left-back throughout the campaign while Danny Rose has struggled to rediscover his best form since returning from a long-term knee injury.
And while some Spurs fans think the club could do with upgrading in his position, Davies has provided a reliable option for Pochettino to turn to over the last year.
Speaking to Spurs TV, Eriksen said Davies “doesn’t do any crazy things,” adding: “You know where he is and he does his job very well.
