Juventus have made contact with Tottenham over a possible deal for Mousa Dembele, according to reports in Italy.
Dembele, who has a year left on his current contract, is expected to leave Spurs this summer.
The Belgian has put off talks about his future until after the World Cup, but it is believed he will inform Tottenham of his intention to leave.
Clubs in Italy – including Juventus, Inter Milan and AC Milan – have been strongly linked with a move for Dembele, while there has also been interest from China.
And now, according to Sky in Italy, Juventus have made initial contact with Spurs.
Dembele has been with Tottenham since with 2012, and the club will need to replace the 30-year-old with a high-quality central midfielder if he leaves.
The Brazilian can play in Dembele’s position and further forward, a degree of versatility Mauricio Pochettino will surely appreciate.
