AS Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan is set to join Inter Milan and wants his Belgium teammate Mousa Dembele to join him at the San Siro, according to reports in Italy.
Dembele, who has just one year left on his current contract, has been heavily linked with the exit door at Spurs, with Italy and China mooted as the most likely destinations.
Inter Milan are said to be chief among the midfielder’s suitors, and reports suggest talks may have already taken place between Tottenham and the Serie A giants.
But the 30-year-old may now have another reason to join Inter.
According to Italian outlet Gazetta dello Sport, imminent Inter signing Nainggolan wants his new club to lure Dembele to the San Siro.
Signing Nainggolan and Dembele would add significant strength and ability to Inter’s midfielder – it’s easy to see why they are keen on both players.
Dembele has put a decision on his future off until after the World Cup, so I wouldn’t expect any developments until late next month.
