Fenerbahce are interested in signing Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko this summer, according to reports in Turkey.

Former Spurs director of football Damien Comolli recently took up a similar role at Fenerbahce, and consequently the Turkish club have been linked with a number of Tottenham players in recent weeks.

Vincent Janssen spent last season on loan at Fenerbahce and that deal is expected to be extended by a further year.

The Super Lig giants are also said to be keen on a move for Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, who isn’t expected to be given a chance in Spurs’ first-team next term after a less than inspiring loan spell at Burnley.

And now, Turkish outlet Sabah Sport claims Fenerbahce are keeping tabs on Sissoko.

The Frenchman, who was left out of France’s World Cup squad, reported back for pre-season training with Tottenham on Monday.

After a difficult first season with Spurs, Sissoko played a bigger role last term but still struggled to cement a place in the starting line-up.

For that reason, he’s likely to leave the club this summer – whether he is keen to move to Turkey remains to be seen.
