England’s World Cup campaign ended in heartbreak following a 2-1 defeat to Croatia in Wednesday’s semi-final.
The Three Lions went ahead early on when Kieran Trippier brilliantly curled a free-kick into the top corner.
Croatia turned things around in the end, but Trippier’s free-kick was a wonderful moment that will be remembered fondly by England and Tottenham fans for some time.
It’s safe to say the right-back be fighting Christian Eriksen to take set-pieces at Spurs next season.
