Tottenham will not be making a move for Wilfried Zaha before the transfer deadline and the winger will stay at Crystal Palace this summer, according to the Independent.

Zaha has been long-term target for Spurs with manager Mauricio Pochettino said to be a fan.

The Ivory Coast international has been linked with a move for Tottenham in each of the last five transfer windows, and there have been plenty suggestions he could make the switch across London this summer.

However, according to the Independent, Zaha will be staying put at Selhurt Park this summer after Spurs chose against making a move for him.

Plenty of potential prices have been cited in recent weeks – some reports suggested Palace are seeking as much as £70 million for the 25-year-old, which is perhaps what has put Tottenham off.

It is unclear whether Spurs will now move for alternate targets. Anthony Martial has been mentioned but there has been little progress on that front.

Meanwhile, Tottenham are reportedly closing in on a deal for Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish.
