Tottenham are considering a late move for Celta Vigo midfielder Stanislav Lobotka, according to the Mirror.

Spurs are yet to make a signing this summer with the transfer window set to close on Thursday at 5pm.

Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish is expected to complete a move to the Londoners by then, but some reports have suggested the club may not bring in any other new players.

However, the Mirror claims Mauricio Pochettino is fond of Lobotka, who signed a new contract with Celta in February, keeping him at the Spanish club until the summer of 2023.

That contract includes a £31m release clause, which Tottenham are said to be thinking of triggering.

Lobotka, 23, has voiced his intention to leave Celta. Napoli have also been linked with a move for the Slovakia international.

Meanwhile, Mousa Dembele has reportedly rejected a £20 million move to Inter Milan, which means Spurs may not urgently need a new central midfielder after all.

A move for Lobotka would still be logical, though, with Dembele likely to leave next summer when his contract expires.
