Tottenaham star Danny Rose is not Paris Saint-Germain’s number one left-back target, according to Sky Sports.
Rose has been linked with a move away from Spurs ever since giving a controversial interview last August in which he criticised the club’s wage structure and ambition in the transfer market.
No longer a guaranteed starter at Tottenham having lost his place in the starting line-up to Ben Davies last season, it is believed the Londoners have been listening to offers for Rose all summer.
And while the 28-year-old failed to secure a move to another English club before the Premier League’s August 9th deadline, he could still depart abroad before the end of the month.
However, Sky Sports claims PSG would rather sign Atletico Madrid left-back Filipe Luis, and Rose is “not thought to be high on their list of candidates.”
PSG are still awaiting a decision on whether they will be punished for breaching Financial Fair Play regulations – until then they aren’t likely to sign anyone.
Meanwhile, Rose’s future remains up in the air.
