Manchester City have been forced to lay on free coach travel for fans ahead of their trip to Wembley to play Tottenham next month.
The game has been moved to the national stadium after Spurs announced delays to the construction of their new ground.
It will also now take place on Monday October 29th, meaning many City fans have had to change travel arrangements.
As a result, the champions have confirmed free coach travel for their supporters, likely at a huge cost to the club.
And according to the London Evening Standard, Liverpool have also been affected by Tottenham’s stadium delays.
A report claims the Merseysiders were “surprised” to discover their fixture against Spurs on September 15th had been moved to Wembley.
The game will take place at the same time and date as originally scheduled, so Liverpool aren’t as affected as Manchester City.
Still, there has clearly been a lack of communication from Spurs on many fronts, which is likely a result of the unexpected nature – relating to safety concerns – of the delays.
City could now have three games in six days thanks to THFC’s incompetence. Unacceptable.

Man City have an unlimited squad of players plus numerous players on loan.
They would have no difficulty in fielding 3 different teams in 6 days .
If not ,why do they spend record amounts of money on bringing all those players in ,if they were not good enough ?
Man City fans don’t turn up to their home games, let alone away ones.
Spurs fan ought to realise that wherever their first home game is played, has to be their home ground all season. Given tha, they should be a little more accomodating an pay for any inconvenience to their oppositions supporters and club.

Unlimited squad? Free ready built stadium? Hells bells, you lot are thick. City name a 25 man squad, as does everyone else. Can’t name 3 different squads, at all. Free stadium? No, we had to spend £30m (back then, a significant sum) on converting the ground from athletics to football. The thing is, we did it in the time allowed. We weren’t pissing other clubs around, we weren’t pissing other fans off. We did it in the allowed time and you fucking amateurs should have allowed more time to do it instead of winging it. Incompetence, nothing less.
