Gareth Southgate has revealed Dele Alli should be fit to face Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday.
As a result, he will miss the Three Lions’ next Nations League game against Switzerland on Tuesday.
Alli was named in the Three Lions’ starting line-up against Spain alongside Kieran Trippier and Harry Kane, while Eric Dier and Danny Rose were both used from the bench.
And although the midfielder picked up an injury, Southgate – via Sky Sports – believes Alli will be fit enough to play in Spurs’ Premier League meeting with Liverpool this weekend.

Tottenham won this exact fixture 4-1 at the national stadium last season – Alli scored the third goal on the day.
The 22-year-old has endured a mixed start to the current campaign, scoring the winning goal against Newcastle United on the opening weekend but failing to find the net since.
With his ability to influence big games, Spurs fans will be hoping Alli is available from the start on Saturday.
