Tottenham welcome Liverpool to Wembley in the Premier League this weekend hoping for a repeat of last season’s 4-1 victory over the Merseysiders at the national stadium.

With injuries and squad issues aplenty, Mauricio Pochettino has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection.

Heung-Min Son is finally back from international duty. But after playing eight games in 26 days for South Korea, it is unlikely he will start against Liverpool.

An attacker who definitely won’t be starting is Dele Alli, who has been ruled out with a muscle strain.

With that in mind we think Pochettino will stick with three at the back, simply because there aren’t enough attacking players to change the system – unless Son surprisingly starts.

Ben Davies was poor in the defeat at Watford before the break so Danny Rose, who impressed for England on Tuesday, could come in on the left.

Michel Vorm will continue to deputise for Hugo Lloris, who is set to miss the next few weeks with a thigh injury.

Eric Dier is also likely to return to the starting line-up. The 24-year-old was left out against Watford for tactical reasons.

Here’s our predicted XI to face Liverpool – what’s yours? Let us know in the comments.

  1. There is no way hes going to play a back 3 against Liverpool. I’m hoping he will play a 4-2-3-1,
Vorm/Gazzaniga, Rose, Toby, Jan, Trippier, Dier & Dembele CDM’s, Eriksen AM, Lucas and Son on the wings and Kane up top.
