Tottenham youngster Dean Parrott scored a Panenka penalty for the Republic of Ireland during an U19 European Championships qualifier against Bosnia & Herzegovina on Wednesday.
The 16-year-old has been impressing for Spurs’ youth sides in recent months and has now taken that form to the international stage, where he is considered a future regular for the senior Irish national team.
His brilliantly taken penalty against Bosnia & Herzegovina is a sign of his confidence, although that kind of spot-kick always has the potential to go very wrong.
